Features GR8048 is a special graphite braided packing made with mineral expanded graphite in the body and continuous P.A.N. carbon yarns on the corners. Each yarn is impregnated with a special compound of grafite powder and inorganic inhibitor of corrosion. GR8048 is a graphite packing versatile, very useful in the maintenance fields, suitable for valves for steam, hydrocarbon and chemical services and for dynamic applications The graphite is non suitable with strong oxidizers and with exhausted gases or hot air over 450°C.
