Graphite Tapes

Graphite  tapes are produced in-house using CNC controlled slitting
equipment, giving consistently accurate tape widths in widths from
minimum 3mm supplied either plain or corrugated and both are
available adhesive backed.
Features
· Graphite Purity 99% minimum
· Flexible and soft, highly impermeable to gases and liquids.
· Homogeneous tapes in a thickness range of 0.35mm, 0.5mm and
0.75mm with other thickness available on request.
· Available as either plain or corrugated tape – both are available
adhesive backed.

· Standard Carbon content 99% minimum
· Density 1.0g /cc
· Temperature Range :
o – 200°c to + 2,800°c in inert or reducing conditions
o -200°c to + 500°c in oxidising conditions
· Tensile strength : 5.2Mpa
· Leachable Chloride & Fluoride 50ppm maximum
· Compressibility : 47%
· Recovery : 9%
Typical Applications
· Filler for Spiral Wound Gaskets.
· On-site Pump and Valve gland packing.
· Manufacture of Graphite Die-Formed Rings.
· Facing materials for Kammprofile gaskets.
· Filler for metal jacketed style gaskets.
Maximum corrugated tape width 50mm – with tape widths up to
15mm supplied in clear plastic boxes. Customers own branding
available on request.
